The news that the governor of Ondo State passed away went viral on the internet on Wednesday.
PUNCH claims that the governor battled prostrate cancer before passing away in Germany. But since the news of Akeredolu’s passing went viral, many Nigerians have responded in a variety of ways.
Dele Farotimi, in his Twitter post, sympathized with Akeredolu’s family. He however, proceeded to state that there are enough lessons for the wise to learn.
He wrote on his page, “Enough lessons for the wise to learn here. He is now beyond our prayers, may God grant the living the grace to learn from the life of the departed. Amen”.
