Aisha Yesufu Reactions Okonkwo Following He Said Edu has put a dent on the quest of Young People and Women To Be Given A Chance To Lead

Nigerian activist Aisha Yesufu responded to Kenneth Okonkwo, who said that Edu’s actions during his term in office had hampered the aspirations of women and young people to hold positions of leadership in the nation. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

Recall that earlier today, in response to disputes regarding financial transactions that Betta Edu, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, approved in her ministry, was suspended by President Bola Tinubu. There are differing opinions about this development among Nigerians across.

Aisha did not agree with the comment made by Okonkwo, she stated that although a woman was the perpetrator of the scandal, it was not something to be attributed to a specific gender or age group. Aisha Yesufu rather called for Edu to be held accountable for her actions.
