After Police Said Abuja Journalist Was Arrested Because Efforts To Invite Him Failed, Ojukwu Reacts

Journalist Daniel Ojukwu of FIJ responded after the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) said that journalist Madu Onuorah, who is based in Abuja, was arrested due to the failure of all formal invitation attempts.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

Onuorah was taken into custody since they were unable to properly invite him, according to a statement released by the NPF under the headline, “Abuja-based Online Publisher Arrested Over Allegation Of Defamatory Publications And Not Abducted As Alleged”.

NPF wrote on its page;

“The Enugu State Police Command is in receipt of several publications alleging the abduction of an Abuja-based online news publisher, one Madu Onuorah “m”. The Command wishes to state that contrary to the allegations, he was duly arrested in Abuja with the assistance of police operatives from Ebonyi State Command and the aid of intelligence, after efforts made to formally invite him failed”.

Reacting to the statement that was made by NPF, Daniel Ojukwu said If the intention of the police was to claim that he didn’t honour an invitation, then the statement that was released doesn’t communicate that.

Daniel Ojukwu wrote on his official page;

“If your intention was to claim he didn’t honour an invitation, this statement doesn’t communicate that. What you’re saying is you failed to invite him. At the point of abduction, couldn’t you have invited him successfully?”. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
