The former Anambra state governor said that Brampton has won numerous awards for its quick development both in Canada and around North America in a post he uploaded on his official X feed on Saturday. According to Peter Obi, the city is home to more than 250 different ethnicities and roughly 170 languages. He stated that young people make up 60% of Brampton’s population, and many of them hold graduate degrees from universities.
Peter Obi wrote on his page;
“During my recent visit to Canada, I had the opportunity to explore Brampton, a city renowned for its rapid growth, earning its accolades not just within Canada but across North America, including a consistent AAA rating from Standard and Poor (S & P) over the past 8 years. Brampton is a melting pot of diversity, boasting over 250 cultures and approximately 170 languages spoken among its residents. Impressively, 60% of its populace comprises youth, with a significant portion holding university graduate qualifications”.
However, Temitope Ajayi has now reacted to the statement that was made by Peter Obi. In the post that he shared on his official X handle, he said it is not enough for Obi to always point to what outsiders do but he should always try to tell the world how Nigeria can be better too.
Temitope Ajayi wrote on his page;
