Rufai shared this realization on his official social media account, X, on Tuesday. Especially, Governor Fubara of Rivers State emphasized that intimidation has a limited shelf life and eventually goes away when the right circumstances are met.
Given his ongoing disagreement with Nyesom Wike, the minister of the Federal Capital Territory, this statement is especially pertinent.
Since October 30, 2023, there has been a lot of coverage of the political unrest in Rivers State that was brought on by an explosion at the State Assembly complex on October 29, 2023. In reaction to these developments, Rufai Oseni expressed his opinions on his social media platform X, saying that Governor Fubara now understands the need of actively pursuing freedom as opposed to waiting for it to be granted to oneself.
“Fubara has now learned that you earn your own freedom yourself,” wrote Rufai on his Verified X page.
