When the presenter in a widely circulated video on Chidi Odinkalu’s website questioned Okechukwu about if things were better this year than they were previous, he declined to respond.
The presenter said;
“I am asking you a straight forward question, somebody that’s receiving a certain amount of money last year, if they took the money to the market a year ago, what would they be able to buy with it and if they took the money now to the market, what would they be able to buy with it? Are things better now or worse? It is a straight forward question.
Osita Okechukwu responded by saying;
“If you make the question straightforward then you are not being fair”.
