The Labour Party’s National Youth Leader, Kennedy Ahanotu, responded to remarks made by party member Kenneth Okonkwo, who claimed the party was conducted like a covert cult and that he might quit.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

In a video shared by TVC, Ahanotu stated that everyone is entitled to their own opinion but the Labour Party is not a secret cult. He said the Labour Party is a legitimate political party with its own structure and can be involved in legal actions. He mentioned that the party has a clear leadership and that the recent national convention was conducted according to the party’s constitution. He said contrary to Okonkwo’s claims, Labour Party follows its constitution and is transparent in its operations.

In Ahanotu’s words: “Everybody is entitled to his own opinion and Labour Party is not a secret cult. Labour Party is a political party that has a life of it’s ow, it can sue and be sued. Labour Party has a leadership today and I watched where Kenneth Okonkwo said the party is run like a secret cult, maybe I am not supposed to even talk about him because he is my senior brother and he is someone I respect so much in the society, but I think he has tried to pass out some wrong information to the public by even trying to explain things around our national convention which was done in line with our party constitution”CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
