After Israeli Prime Minister, Netanyahu Rejects Hamas Deal To End War, Fani Kayode Reacts

Reports state that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected a proposal from Hamas to end hostilities and release prisoners in exchange for Israel removing its forces, releasing the detainees, and acknowledging the armed group’s authority over Gaza.

While reacting to this report, the former aviation minister, Fani Kayode took to his microblogging, to air out his view and thought.

According the the statement made known by Fani Kayode, he said that:”Netanyahu’s rejection of a two-state solution has dashed any hope of a peaceful resolution to the conflict and consequently the relevant question is no longer whether Israel can live in peace and security with her neighbours but rather whether she still retains and deserves the right to exist at all.”

Concluding his statement, Fani Kayode noted that:”As each day passes and the world watches the unspeakable carnage that is taking place in Gaza, more and more people of all faiths from all over the world are beginning to question that right.”
