In comparison to the eight years of Nyesom Wike’s government, Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara reportedly stated that his first year in office had been more effective in terms of project delivery and service. At the launching of the Andoni section of the Ogoni-Andoni-Opobo Unity Road project in the Andoni local government area on Saturday, May 18, he made the statement.

Rufai took to his official X handle after hearing about the Rivers State Governor’s remarks, stating that Governor Fubara’s assertion that his one year in office is better than Governor Wike’s eight years isn’t factual.

Rufai said and I quote;
