After EFCC Discovers Millions Of Dollars In Bank Accounts Belonging To Betta Edu LP's Tanko Reacts

In response to the purported report that the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, or EFCC, found millions of dollars in bank accounts belonging to the suspended Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Dr. Mrs. Betta Edu, the spokesperson for the Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Dr. Yunusa Tanko, responded. Dr. Yunusa Tanko responded by stating that everyone who commits a crime is likely to face consequences. He continued by stating that this is how they handle all of our resources together.

Dr Yunusa Tanko made this disclosure in a post he made on his official X handle on Monday evening. He went on and noted that the sum of ₦2.7 billion was allegedly discovered in her Zenith Bank account, ₦725 million in her first bank account, ₦388 million in her Polaris Bank account and millions of dollars discovered in other bank accounts belonging to her.

  1. This is absolutely ridiculous, they have questioned her, why intruding into her personal life. She has explained how the money was duely spend. Please Dr Better Edu should be reinstated immediately.
