In the post that the former governor of Anambra state shared on his official X handle on Tuesday, he said the fatal road accident happened in Awgbu Community and no fewer than five people died in the process.
Peter Obi stated that an accident of such magnitude needs to be investigated to unravel the causes and be able to prevent future occurrences.
Here is what he wrote on his official page;
“I am sincerely saddened by the ugly news of the fatal road traffic accident that occurred in Awgbu Community, Anambra State, today, where about 5 persons lost their lives and many others were injured. An accident of this magnitude needs to be investigated to unravel the causes and be able to prevent future occurrences.
