In a direct interview with TVC TV, Adetokunbo Pearse, Convener of Reset Lagos PDP and Public Affairs Analyst, asserts that the larger problem of APC’s successful use of media manipulation under Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership is ignored when calls are made to penalize party members for engaging in anti-party activities during the 2023 election. He notes that many PDP supporters chose to vote for the APC as a result of Tinubu’s effective use of the media to pit party members against one another, making it impossible to pinpoint the exact beginning of the “anti-party” movements. He suggests that the party’s focus should be on learning from Tinubu’s media strategy rather than trying to scapegoat individual members for the electoral loss.

He said, “It is not about Wike, people have been clamoring we must punish those who did anti-party this 2023.
