Senator Shehu Sani, a prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and a former congressman from Kaduna who served as the National Assembly’s representative for Kaduna Central, has responded to news that Nigeria has been granted a $2.5 billion loan by the World Bank. In the post that he shared on his official page, he said Nigeria just secured $2.5 billion loan from world bank but Ukraine will be given the sum of $60 billion. Shehu Sani said the loan will be given to Ukraine to enable the nation to continue fighting the war against Russia.
The former Kaduna lawmaker however, concluded his statement by saying that peace is cheaper than war.
