According to Salihu Lukman, I said it several times that I did not believe Tinubu made the right decision

In an interview with The Punch, Salihu Lukman, the immediate past National Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) North-West, discussed a number of topics, including his dissatisfaction with the party’s leadership and the reasons he is still the most misunderstood politician. He clarified that he didn’t aim to offend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu while discussing the reasons behind his attacks on the leader.

He said, “In the case of Asiwaju, God knows, I didn’t come out to insult him. Yes, I was shocked when after the removal of Abdullahi Adamu as the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, the name of Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, who is somebody I respect, started flying around. I said it several times that I did not believe he (Tinubu) made the right decision.”

Salihu Lukman said that if the people should take a look at the party’s constitution, the first preference is that the state that produced the member of the National Working Committee should have the benefit of nominating the replacement, and so, Nasarawa State should have been given the chairmanship position of the state.

Further talking, he said that now that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the President, he finds it so painful, and irritating that the entire North-Central geopolitical zone is marginalised in the politics of the country under his leadership. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
