According to Rivers COS Edison Ehie to Tinubu “We Heard That Some of Our People Have Started Campaigning to Fight Against You”

Rivers State Chief of Staff Edison Ehie recently stated that the state is in favor of President Tinubu’s second term in a video that Channels Television released. He did, however, voice concern over reports that some people were organizing to oppose President Tinubu. Ehie emphasized that no Rivers man has been allowed to run against Tinubu’s candidacy, saying that the government and people of Rivers State, led by Sir Siminalayi Fubara, are supporting Tinubu for president in 2027. In his words; Ehie said; “Finally, Mr. President, it is critical that you receive this information. Mr. President, the administration and people of Rivers State, led by Sir Siminalayi Fubara, are supporting you for a second term. We’ve heard that some of our people have begun to campaign, mobilise, and galvanise against you. Did we give any Rivers man permission to challenge Tinubu for the presidency?
