Seun Onigbinde who made such statement during an interview with Seun Okinbaloye few hours ago, criticized president Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government with regards to his cabinet, the 2024 budget and the policies that are formulated by his government.
According to Seun Onigbinde, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s cabinet and 2024 budget are not good enough, adding that his policies keep dragging Nigerians backward.
However, Seun Onigbinde when asked if the cabinet under former president Muhammadu Buhari was better than president Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s current cabinet, stated that it was not because the persons under the ex-president’s cabinet did not distinguish themselves.
Seun Onigbinde further stated that the quality of an individual is known when he/she leaves the government, adding that the likes of Okonjo-Iweala, Omobola Johnson and Akinwumi Adesina are not jobless even after they left their public offices.
The economist then stated that;
“Those are the people who have quality, you go and carry somebody who is a retired military man, Sabo Nanono and put him as minister of agriculture, an entire disaster, what kind of cabinet is that?
