In a statement that was released, Patrick Moro said the constitution of the Peoples Democratic Party is clear on who is a member and who is not a member and as it stands, the former governor of Rivers state is still a member of the party. He said if actions had been taken against Wike after the presidential election, he would not have been allowed to attend the meeting but because no action was taken against him, he can’t be banned from attending the meeting.

He was quoted as saying;

“The constitution of our party is very clear on who is a member and who is not a member of the caucus of the party and I dare say, at this point, Nyesom Wike is a member of the National Caucus of the party.
