Fubara stated that numerous contractors are now pursuing his government for payment, as they were not paid by the previous administration.

The governor made these remarks during the inauguration of the Ebubu-Aleto-Eteo project in the Eleme Local Government Area of the State, which was officially opened by Governor Alex Otti of Abia State.

Fubara emphasized that his administration prioritizes transparency and has a document detailing the expenses of all the projects it has undertaken.

Fubara admitted that the primary obstacle his government is presently facing is the financial obligations left behind by the previous administration. He emphasized that despite being a member of that government, he has reached a tipping point.

He said: “For the records it was awarded to CCECC. It was awarded on the 14th of August by this Administration. “The intention behind this is to inform the world that the major issue faced by this administration is debt. A significant number of projects that are being initiated require large sums of money for their final payments, which amount to millions and billions.

“I have already expressed my desire to not engage in conversation. The reason behind my reluctance is that I am involved in that particular system. However, if you continue to persist, I will vocalize my refusal in order to expose the true nature of the situation.” CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
