Political affairs expert Engr. Chukwudi Ezekwelu disclosed the actual events that took place in Anambra State during the presidential election. According to him, individuals who were meant to be Peter Obi’s home ground were advising him to resign and back Nyesom Wike after Wike visited Anambra during his campaign. Speaking further in an interview with Trust TV, Ezekwelu stated that Wike’s campaign in Anambra State was a show of power and dominance, both with money and all the structures he had in place.

According to him, “The people that ran the show in PDP, Anambra State, were those who were loyal to Nyesom Wike. When Wike came to campaign in Anambra, he came for a kind of intimidation, both with money and with the structures that were in place.
