According to Emma Ik Umeh Response: Senator Ireti's Performance in FCT Underwhelming, Aduda May Contest Again

“Senator Ireti has been too elitist and disconnected from the people,” Ik Umeh said. “She hasn’t done much in FCT, and many people don’t even know her. It’s as if we don’t have a Senator representing us in FCT.”

Ik Umeh also hinted that Senator Aduda may contest the Senate seat again, given the perceived weakness in Senator Ireti’s performance. “Aduda has a strong grassroots presence and is well-loved by the people. If Senator Ireti doesn’t step up her game, she may lose her seat to Aduda in the next election.”
