According to Atiku To Sen Ningi “Your Suspension Is Very Regrettable, You Meant Well For The National Assembly’

He blamed Senator Ningi’s suspension on the current administration, which he said seemed to be indifferent to the principles of openness and credibility. He expressed faith in Senator Ningi’s moral character in spite of this setback and promised him that his fight for institutional legitimacy will ultimately succeed.

Senator Abdul Ningi who was suspended by the National Assembly after his interview with the BBC Hausa where he claimed that the 2024 budget was padded. Senator Ningi insisted during his interrogation by the house that some parts of the budget allocation are not traceable. However, the 10th National Assembly dismissed Senator Ningi’s claim after the Senate President disproved his argument as a false allegation that lacked evidence.

He said in a media coverage by AIT, ”I and Senator Ningi, We have maintained a very close relationship over the years. You are a victim of bringing about that credibility in our democracy. We have come here to sympathize with you and to let you know that we are with you. And we will continue to support you in your endeavours to make sure that we have credibility in our institutions.

Your suspension is very regrettable, you meant well for the National Assembly. But it is because the institution is being led by People who do not value credibility, transparency, and honesty. You will not continue to be a victim because you will definitely triumph in your struggle.
