One of the Chibok Girls, Amina Ali, has openly discussed her ordeal since escaping Boko Haram’s grasp in 2016. Exactly ten years have passed since this terrible event in Nigeria in 2014, when Boko Haram kidnapped over 200 Chibok Girls. Amina Ali said she was able to escape from Boko Haram in 2016 when the Nigeria Military Force went to attack them in the Sambisa Forest. She said it took her a month plus to escape because of how big the Sambisa Forest is. Amina Ali confirmed that she has been to get help from the Nigerian Government which is presently sponsoring her education in a university called the “American University Of Nigeria”.

Quoting some of her statements from Arise News Television today, she said: “My name is Amina Ali, I was among the Chibok girls abducted by Boko Haram in the year 2014. I got my freedom in the year 2016 on the 17th of May and I was able to escape through when the Nigerian Army went there to fight the Boko Haram members.
