Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, encouraged people who wished to serve God and gave them hope that money would come their way. He reaffirmed the conviction that the distribution of wealth will shift in the upcoming year and emphasized the significance of using money for God’s service. Pastor Adeboye emphasised that there is an abundance of wealth, but it needs to be directed towards righteous ndeavors. He, however, urged the people to praise God so that he would fulfil all their wishes and aspirations.

According to him, “Those of you who think you want to do something for God, only that you don’t have the money, money is coming. But when it comes, what are you going to use it for? To serve him. I’ve said it again and again: God is looking for treasurers. Don’t let anybody tell you there’s no money in this country; it’s just that it’s in the wrong hands.
