Arabambi expressed his dissatisfaction with Obi’s decision to put off addressing internal party struggle in favor of projects like employing motorcycle engine power to build boreholes in northern Nigeria. He observed that it seemed as though these actions were an attempt to correct earlier mistakes.

“You want to govern Nigeria and you’re busy putting Boreholes with Motorcycle machine engine all over the North. That was the people who he rejected during the composition of the Presidential campaign council. I’ve said it before and I’m still going to repeat it. In all the North, all our State Coordinators are Igbos that are living in the North and the Northerners are deputies”
