He further asserted that despite pressure to align with what he described as Fubara’s “shenanigans” in Rivers State, he has firmly refused, citing his commitment to leadership principles and the Nigerian Constitution. His stance, he noted, is a rejection of actions he believes to be unconstitutional.
He said in an interview with News Central TV, “He (Fubara) is the main culprit of the ongoing crisis in Rivers state. In the morning, he will come out to the people and say, ‘Oh, I’m innocent.’ In the afternoon, he will be weaponizing people politically, and I am a victim of this. As I speak to you, there is nothing he has not done to try to convince me to join the shenanigans he’s doing in Rivers State. But I said no.
