Iwuanyanwu said he received a call from Dokpesi on Saturday, two days before his death. He said at the time, he was in his hometown, and Dokpesi seemed eager for him to return. He said he told Dokpesi that he planned to come back by Tuesday and Dokpesi responded by saying “Is it when I die that you will come back?
In Iwuanyanwu’s words: “He made a call to me that Saturday before his death. I was in the village, he said what are you still doing in the village. I said my senior brother I am rounding up, I will be coming on Tuesday because Monday wasn’t safe for anybody to travel in the east then.
