2027: Bode George, You Can Contest If You Want, But the Party Must Not Be Part of That

In an interview with AIT, well-known PDP leader Chief Bode George forewarned Atiku Abubakar that the party would not back his bid for president in 2027. George emphasized that the South has been given authority following eight years of President Buhari’s administration, and the party ought to follow this arrangement. Bode George stated that in order to promote justice, balance, and national integration, as well as to ensure that no region is disadvantaged or dominates others in the political world, their party’s constitution clearly enshrines the concept of power rotation. He stressed the significance of honouring the deal.

In his words, “Now, they devolve the power to the south. Buhari spent 8 years, and our brother, also from there, is saying he wants to be president. You can contest if you want, but the party must not be part of that. Severally, during the first time we started, the party definitely zoned it to the south.
