In January, Kalu transferred from Bordeaux to the Hornets. He was loaned out to Lausanne Sport in the Swiss Super League for the 2023–2024 season, though, because he struggled to get playing time.
While at Vicarage Road, Kalu struggled with ongoing ailments and a decline in form. Despite playing in 13 games in all competitions four of which were in the Premier League he did not contribute to any goals.
Kalu made 21 appearances while on loan with Lausanne-Sport, contributing five goals to the score. The 27-year-old’s contract was terminated on August 30, thus he is free to sign with another club even after the summer transfer window closes.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
