However, Hon. Yakubu Dogara, the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, has declared that his salary during his tenure in office was N400,000.

The figure was disclosed by the former House of Representatives Speaker on Wednesday during his remarks at the House of Representatives Open Week celebration in Abuja, as reported by Vanguard.

Yakubu Dogara stated, “While I was Speaker, my salary was 400 thousand naira, and my total allowance was 25 million naira.”
