Wike: He Has Given Fubara Free Hand To Lead The State Without Any Interference- According to Chief Raphael Okorie

Chief Raphael Okorie, the National Coordinator of the Southern Movement, emphasized the skills and leadership attributes of former Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike. He insisted that Wike’s ability to rise above the political turmoil in Rivers State and his refusal to meddle in the current governor’s administration demonstrate his commitment to good governance and development. He also emphasized the judiciary’s capacity to resolve any outstanding disputes inside the state, indicating his confidence in the legal system to address urgent issues.

He asserted that assessing an experienced man is easy. According to him, Wike led the state for eight years. He made the observation that people now need to utilize GPS devices to get around Rivers because to the state of infrastructural development in the area. He clarified that not using a GPS could lead to someone becoming lost, particularly in Port Harcourt.

To quote him, “Rivers crisis is not peculiar. Wike is a man who lives above board. He has given the governor (Fubara) the free hand to lead the state without any interference.”
