Wike: According to Momodu, Governors In Abia, Enugu And Benue Lost Their Senatorial Ambition Because Of One Man

Momodu said that Tinubu’s team is aware of Wike and is resistant to his influence. He also discussed the negative consequences of an individual’s overambition, giving instances of governors in Benue, Enugu, and Abia State who were defeated in their campaigns for senate because of an individual’s uncontrollably high goals. Momodu emphasized the consequences of behaving spitefully, comparing it to self-harm, particularly in light of Wike’s current predicament.

Regarding his personal relationship with Wike, Momodu acknowledged their past camaraderie and praised Wike’s achievements in specific areas, particularly infrastructure development. However, he criticized Wike for allowing anger to cloud his judgment, leading to estrangement from others. Momodu expressed disappointment and a sense of detachment from Wike’s actions, noting that many are puzzled by his behavior and questioning his confrontational stance.

He suggested that Wike’s attempts to deceive Tinubu and his associates would be futile, as they are well aware of his character and cannot rely on him, especially concerning matters of power and wealth. Momodu asserted that Wike’s reputation for prioritizing power and wealth at any cost has become common knowledge among Nigerians, diminishing his credibility in the eyes of many.

Hear him: “What went wrong was that one man’s personal ambition took over everything else, and a lot of collateral damage came with it. Look at our governors in Abia State, Enugu, and Benue losing their senatorial bids just because of the ambition of one man. He added, You see, what a man should know is that when you cut your nose thinking you want to spite your face, you will look very awkward. That is the case with Wike right now.

While speaking on his relationship with Wike, he said, “Yes, he was my very good friend, and I continue to say that he was performing well in some areas, especially in the area of infrastructure, but when a man allows anger to take a better judgment of him, then everybody will leave him to roast in his own stew.” CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
