On the podcast, Kanayo O Kanayo explained why the Igbo people would have been even more negatively affected had Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, been elected president of Nigeria.

In his words:

“If Peter Obi had become president, Igbo Land would have suffered more because he looks at what will benefit Nigerians and not what will benefit the Igbo’s. You know, when I’m talking about Peter Obi, I’m not talking about him as an Igbo Man; I talk about him as somebody who has been to my house on three different occasions in the village; he would rather sacrifice his comfort to make sure somebody from the North has something; he would rather sacrifice his personal money for somebody from the South West, and so on.”.

“If you have a relationship with such a person, you will push his cards and say let this one go; your friends will even deny you of what you are supposed to get. I’m not saying that President Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu doesn’t have a large heart; he’s very generous, but generous to the extent that you will forget about what happened in 2023 and say I’m now the President of Nigeria, unlike Buhari, who said, ‘I will first of all remember 97 percent rather than the 5 percent.’ When you speak like that, then you are now the President of Northern Nigeria and not the President of Nigeria,” Kanayo O Kanayo said.

Stephen Akintayo shared the video on his official Instagram page today, being Wednesday, the 13th day of November 2024, and it stirred massive reactions from the general public. Click on the link below to watch the video.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
