What Governor Siminalayi Fubara Said Following Federal High Court Stopped Rivers Allocation

 

Sir Siminalayi Fubara, the executive governor of Rivers State, has discussed the recent ruling by the High Court that prevented the Central Bank of Nigeria from disbursing funds to Rivers State. According to Fubara, the verdict is the least of his issues.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

According to a report made by Channels Television, Fubara said this during a special thanksgiving service organised by the Rivers State Government on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. The service was organized to celebrate his resilience amid the political crisis in the state.

The governor assured that he will continue to pay contractors and other state workers despite the court judgement. He also charged his followers to be courageous as all challenges are overcomable.

Furthermore, he said his administration has also conducted local government elections against all odds and maintained a full cabinet despite attempts to undermine his leadership through resignations.
