We'll Leave No Stone Unturned—FG Declares As Bobrisky In Trouble Again For Allegedly Bribing EFCC N15m

According to VANGUARD, cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, has encountered fresh controversy. Activist Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, said in a widely circulated audio clip that Bobrisky had paid anonymous EFCC agents N15 million to remove allegations of money laundering against him. In April, a Lagos Federal High Court sentenced Bobrisky to six months in prison for misusing Naira.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

He was released on August 5 after serving his sentence.

The viral audio suggests he was involved in more serious charges, which were allegedly dropped due to the bribe.

It also claims Bobrisky served his prison sentence in a flat near the prison after receiving help from a mentor.

Bobrisky denied these allegations on Instagram.

He said the viral audio was fake and insisted he did not bribe any EFCC official.

According to him, he served his sentence in prison, not a flat.

The EFCC has taken the matter seriously.

Spokesman Dele Oyewale announced that a team of investigators is looking into the allegations.

Both Bobrisky and Martins Otse have been asked to assist in the investigation.

Additionally, rapper Falz was mentioned in the viral audio.

It was claimed that Falz’s father, Femi Falana, helped Bobrisky seek a pardon from the presidency for N10 million.

Falz responded by demanding an apology, stating that the allegations were false and defamatory.

He revealed that Bobrisky had asked him for financial help, but he refused.

Meanwhile, the Federal Government has ordered an investigation into the Nigerian Correctional Service over bribery and corruption claims.

Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, underlined a zero-tolerance policy for corruption within the service.

“The Ministry will not tolerate any compromise on its core values of integrity, transparency, and accountability. We will leave no stone unturned in rooting out corruption and ensuring that those found culpable face the full wrath of the law.”

“The Minister has called for a special investigative team headed by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, Dr. Magdalene Ajani, to probe these allegations and submit a comprehensive report,” Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo said.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
