“We will surely get them even if they go to heaven. Even in heaven, policemen are there. All the angels in heaven are police officers. They will look for them if they go there. But we must surely get them anywhere they go to,” Adejobi stated, using metaphorical language to stress the police’s commitment.
Speaking about ongoing investigations, he assured the public of active pursuit: “I’m sure the commander and operatives in charge of this case are making every effort to close in on these people who have fled, so we can get them arrested.”
The police spokesman also highlighted the culpability of those who enable criminal activities, particularly among the privileged class. “Most of those who patronize criminals like this are likely big boys or big men in our society.
