Following the viral release of a horrific video that showed him tying up a half-naked woman at the Top View Hotel in Abuja using cello tape, a young man known as Joseph Efe was taken into custody. She said she’s from Enugu, but visits Abuja frequently for business.
According to her, on the day of the incident, she arranged to meet Efe at the Top View Hotel.
Upon arriving at the hotel, she claimed that Efe’s behaviour quickly turned menacing.
She said, “When I got to the hotel, the suspect asked me whether I feared death. He said if I cooperate with him he would not hurt me like other girls.
“I pleaded with him. He slapped me and asked me to strip my clothes. I tried to get to the door but it was locked by him and he held the keys.”
In the viral video, Efe was seen restraining the woman, leading to widespread social media speculation that he intended to kill her and use her body parts for ritual purposes.
Efe, however, has denied these allegations.
While speaking to newsmen while being paraded by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) in Abuja, Efe said that he is a thief and not a ritualist. He said that he has never killed anyone before.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
