In a video recently shared by AIT, Andrew said as they were being taken across farmlands and rural villages, the locals in these areas showed no concern for their situation. Instead of intervening or raising an alarm, the villagers simply waved at the bandits as they passed. He said some farmers paused from their work to glance at the group, then returned to their farming activities without concern.

In Andrews’s words: “Nobody said where are the bandits taking these people (my daughter and I) to. As we were passing these villagers, they would just wave at the bandits.
