He blamed the delay on judicial misunderstandings that occurred in both the Supreme Court and the Appeal Court.

But his battle with Nyesom Wike, the current FCT Minister and former governor of Rivers State, garnered much of the attention. Ugochinyere took issue with Wike’s apparent hostility to Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s government and his role in sowing discord within the PDP.

Ikenga Ugochinyere, stated: ”Wike has even shown his grievance on national Tv, calling me names, but I remain myself”.

Ugochinyere’s speech typifies his approach to the escalating political drama: eschew personal attacks while concentrate on fundamental party issues. He said that Wike’s influence in the PDP was exacerbated by the party’s failure to develop strong internal leadership. “I do not see Wike as the PDP’s sole problem,” he explained. “The PDP governors and leaders are to blame for failing to form a unified front.” If they had done so, Wike would have had no choice except to join the APC or leave the PDP totally.

His comments highlight a larger problem inside the PDP, where a lack of unity has given politicians like Wike undue power. A growing demand for accountability and reform inside the party to guarantee stability and continuity in governance is also reflected in Ugochinyere’s remarks.

The public will surely be watching how these tensions develop and whether the PDP can put aside its internal strife to concentrate on properly serving its constituents as Rivers State struggles with its political and judicial issues.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
