Turji Bello On His N50m Tax On Zamfara Community:

Bello Turji, a sought and infamous bandit commander, has reportedly admitted to levying a N50 million tax on the people of Moriki town in Zamfara State and provided justification for his actions, according to the Daily Post. Turji revealed in a recent video that he had forced Moriki town to murder his livestock because security guards were killing them there. Bulama Bukarti, a security analyst and attorney, had revealed that Turji levied a N30 million levy on Moriki’s citizens.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

But faulting Burkati’s report, the bandits leader insisted that the tax is N50 million instead. Turji criticized Bukarti for not including that security agents killed his cattle in Moriki, hence the fine. According to him, Burkati fed the public with a one-sided story without confirming from them what happened. And that didn’t make for a fair judgment.

He said in part:

“Why would you allow your people to tell you a one-sided story and rush to tell the public? You are a slave of the West, and you, along with Bello, should know that the tax we imposed on Moriki people is N50 million.

“Listen carefully, people of Moriki: I am warning you.
