“There are other approaches behind the scenes that are ongoing,” Shelle disclosed, hinting at complex political negotiations. He outlined a strategic response to potential APC maneuvers: “If APC wants to frustrate the PDP, the PDP will frustrate the APC by going into an alliance and coalition with other opposition parties.”

The veteran political leader expressed confidence in this approach, asserting, “It’s going to work out.” He emphasized the PDP’s current political positioning, stating, “PDP is the strongest so far. Even PDP is supposed to be stronger.”

Shelle provided a nuanced analysis of the previous election’s geographical dynamics, noting the remarkable electoral distribution: “You know that the president, Tinubu won in twelve states for himself. Peter Obi won in twelve states. And Atiku won in twelve states.” He attributed the APC’s victory to systematic manipulation, declaring, “It’s only the manipulations that gave the APC an edge during the last election.”

Looking forward, Shelle painted a picture of potential political realignment driven by mounting public dissatisfaction. “We are very hopeful that come the next election, PDP and other interested parties will have come together, seeing the situation on the ground where everything is rough, people are hungry, people are not happy,” he stated.

The party veteran highlighted a range of economic pressures fueling potential political change. “Electricity bills have gone up. Even telecoms tariffs have gone up. Everything, there’s inflation everywhere,” he emphasized, suggesting these challenges could be catalysts for opposition mobilization.

These revelations come at a critical moment in Nigeria’s political landscape, with opposition parties seeking to redefine their strategies and capitalize on growing public discontent. Shelle’s comments suggest a sophisticated approach to political coalition-building that goes beyond traditional party boundaries.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
