Famous Nigerian comedian and entertainment expert Gbenga Adeyinka recently shared his thoughts on President Bola Tinubu’s position in the nation, according to Punch. However, Adeyinka believes that Nigerians would face significant challenges if Tinubu, despite his capabilities, is unable to address the country’s problems.
Adeyinka, who is a member of the All Progressives Congress, also highlighted Tinubu’s successful tenure as the governor of Lagos State, stating that he is the most suitable candidate to guide the country’s affairs.
He said, “If I have strong feelings for you, I have strong feelings for you. That’s my issue, and I truly believe it. Please consider this as a certainty; if Asiwaju (Tinubu) is unable to fix Nigeria, then we are facing serious problems. Considering his abilities, knowledge, and the fact that he has no personal gain or loss anymore, if he fails to improve Nigeria, then we are in a dire situation. I am deeply concerned for the future of Nigeria.”
The experienced comedian expressed his endorsement for Tinubu’s candidacy, citing his wealth of knowledge and expertise to effectively address Nigeria’s economic challenges and lead the nation towards prosperity.
He said, “People were already choosing sides even before the election. Do I approve of the government’s policies? I also experience difficulties. It’s important to remember that I am also a Nigerian. Now, do I support Asiwaju’s policies? Some of them, yes, and some of them, no.
“The man explained something. He said we have two options. We go the way we are going. I’ll be attacked for this one, but I’ll speak my mind. We go the way we have always gone. We keep borrowing money. We keep using our crude, for instance, I’m told has been used to borrow money. We can change that and have a better tomorrow.
