They said my husband killed himself with a pistol hidden inside the Amala I cooked for him — According to Widow

 

A video uploaded by Brekete Family claims that in 2014, a police officer named DSP Nambul Audu allegedly committed suicide in a police cell in Kaduna. Mrs. Patricia Nambul, his widow, has expressed doubts on the circumstances of his passing, nevertheless.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

According to Mrs. Nambul, her husband was arrested and detained for over a week on allegations of attempting to sell firearms. She claims that during her husband’s detention, he had requested food, specifically Amala, which she prepared and sent to him through their daughter.

Tragically, shortly after consuming the food, DSP Audu was found dead, with police claiming that he had shot himself three times with a pistol allegedly hidden in the Amala. The police reported that the pistol was found on his chest after the incident.

In her own words, “My husband is a police officer, he was arrested with two men, that he is trying to sell firearms to people. I went to visit him the next day only to see him in handcuffs, wearing only singlet and boxers. He was imprisoned for over a week before he called me with the phone of an on-duty Officer, asking me if we had soup at home, because he wanted to eat Amala. I made a small wrap of Amala, and gave my daughter to take to her father in the cell, they stopped her at the gate and questioned her. The operatives asked her where she was going, she stated that she was taking food to her father, and was allowed to pass. The police at the counter, opened and searched the food, and carried it to her husband inside the cell. After my husband finished eating, they brought the plate out and returned it to my daughter. After a while, I was told that my husband killed himself with the pistol hidden inside the Amala I cooked for him, they said he shot himself three times.
