According to Daily Post, Fubara made this statement during the inauguration of two community town halls and the launch of a scholarship and empowerment initiative for Akiama and Aganya communities in Bonny Local Government Area.

During the event, the governor commended the Speaker of the House, Oko-Jumbo, for his role in facilitating the screening of caretaker committee chairmen and expediting executive requests.

He also emphasized the importance of the legislature in passing the 2025 budget.

He criticized the actions of former Assembly members, accusing them of abandoning their constituents and failing to initiate or oversee any meaningful projects.

Fubara’s comments were a clear reference to the political tensions between the factions, with the governor attributing the crisis to competing interests over state resources.

Despite the ongoing crisis, Fubara insisted that the political strife was a result of power struggles and resource control.

He also reaffirmed his commitment to delivering development to the people, calling on elected representatives to focus on their constituents’ needs rather than political rivalries.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
