NLC Chairman Alex Agwanwo condemned the court’s ruling, asserting that it disregarded the interests of the state’s citizens and workers, calling it “anti-development.”
He emphasized that the judgment lacks compassion and fails to consider the severe repercussions of halting state allocations, which could lead to widespread suffering and disrupt governance.
“Governance cannot thrive without funding,” Agwanwo stated, stressing that the ruling could hinder critical state projects and services.
