Tahir Mamman said. “Some Nigerian Citizens Work Abroad With Certificates They Bought And Know Nothing About”

Professor Tahir Mamman, the minister of education, claimed that some Nigerian nationals who have never left their country are earning degrees through questionable methods, jeopardizing the standing of their nation. According to him, these people frequently stay in Nigeria and choose to purchase credentials rather than gaining the necessary information or abilities. To manage immigration and institutional paperwork, they rely on agents, who obtain certificates without any real professional or academic expertise.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

He explained further that this practice results in individuals acquiring high-grade certificates, sometimes even first-class honors, despite their lack of real-world expertise. These fraudulent degrees allow them to compete with and overshadow students who have invested years of rigorous study and effort to earn their legitimate qualifications.

He said in an interview with channels Tv, “Some Nigerian citizens who haven’t left the country before go out there and work with certificates they bought, knowing nothing about them. I see them as those who endanger our country. Some of them haven’t even stepped out of the shores of Nigeria or left the country before; all they do is sit at home, pay some money, and get an agent to do the paperwork with immigration and institutions abroad. They then receive their certificates, often with first-class high grades. This enables them to compete with real students who toiled and studied hard for 4-6 years to get their degrees. Eventually, they even get employed to work in jobs they know nothing about.”CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
