According to a video shared by Daily Trust TV, Dalung revealed that Usman is accused of awarding contracts to his relatives, raising questions about alleged corruption. He compared this situation to that of Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, claiming that Seyi is a director in a company that secured a federal government contract worth 15 trillion naira.

Dalung said, “If you are accusing Prof. Usman of corruption, awarding contracts to his family members, I know the president is an honest man, so by next week DSS will pick Seyi Tinubu because he is a beneficiary of the [15 trillion naira] contract awarded to Chagoury, which he is a director in.
