Smotrich expressed his condolences to the families of the fallen soldiers, stating, “Our sons fell so that we would win and so that this generation could live in a safe Jewish state.” He then emphasized the need to continue fighting, saying, “The heavy price of the war obliges us to continue until the complete destruction of the enemy.”

Smotrich’s stance is in line with that of other Israeli officials, including National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, who has also called for continued military action in Gaza.

Ben Gvir has stated that the sacrifices made by the fallen soldiers must not be in vain and that the war must continue until Hamas is toppled and all Israeli hostages are returned.

The ongoing conflict has resulted in significant human toll, with at least 37,296 Palestinians killed, mostly women, children, and elderly, according to Gaza’s health ministry.

The situation has also led to increased tensions along the Lebanon border, with Hezbollah launching intense strikes against Israeli forces.

The international community has expressed concern over the humanitarian situation in Gaza, with the United States warning of catastrophic hunger and the United Nations calling for an immediate ceasefire.

However, Israeli officials remain committed to their military objectives, citing the need to ensure the safety and security of the Jewish state.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
