Global security analyst Chukwuemeka Eze has claimed that although the death of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar may have diminished the group’s physical might, it had no effect on its spiritual strength. He argued that Sinwar’s unwavering commitment to the cause is not unique to him, as many others within Hamas share this unrelenting dedication. He pointed out that the core goal of Hamas is the destruction of Israel, and its members are willing to make the ultimate sacrifice to achieve this objective.

He said in an interview with Channels TV, ‘Basically, the killing of Yahya Sinwar is a downgrade in terms of physical strength, but spiritually, it doesn’t. This is a man who spent 22 years in prison between 1989 and 2011, and when he came out in 2011, his will was not broken. And there are many others like him in Hamas. Remember, the main purpose of Hamas is the destruction of Israel.

So, anyone who is truly committed to Hamas sees the destruction of Israel as the ultimate goal, and sacrifices will definitely be made. Even Sinwar himself once said that sacrifices will be made, and that they are ready to die.
