Sim Fubara: Some people come to Rivers and Don’t pay courtesy call to me for fear of someone in Abuja

 

Rivers State Governor Sim Fubara recently conveyed his happiness during a courtesy visit from the Head of the Federation’s Civil Service, Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack. Fubara clarified that he was especially pleased that some of President Tinubu’s emissaries who travel to Rivers State for events refrain from paying him a courtesy call out of concern for a specific person in Abuja.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

In a live coverage by Symfoni TV, Fubara appreciated Mrs. Walson-Jack for following proper protocol and showing respect to the state by paying him a visit. He emphasized that it is standard practice across the country for high-ranking officials to acknowledge the governor when visiting a state. He said that her actions reflected the professionalism expected from someone in her important position.

In Fubara’s words: “We have had cases where some people come into Rivers State to represent President Tinubu in event and they don’t bother paying courtesy, the singular reason is for fear of some person in Abuja. So I am really happy that you are doing what is the normal standard anywhere in the Federation.
