According to allegations that surfaced on Wednesday, the EFCC had located Yahaya Bello’s home in Wuse, Abuja. However, Usman Ododo, the governor of Kogi State, stopped the EFCC from apprehending the former governor by visiting Yahaya Bello’s home with a security detail.

According to Sahara Reporters, sources from the EFCC said that there would have been a bloody clash if they had gone head to head with the police officers.

The sources said that they were trying to avoid a bloody clash.
